Douglas is a former JPMorgan financial manager. At first, everything started as a game. He and his wife tried to figure out 11 herbs and spices in the KFC secret. As the time passes, it has become a passion. By many tries, he has come close to decode the exact KFC recipe which has never been released. Additionally, the online community has been helping Douglas with his endeavor. He tried six times before he was convinced that he had been right. Finally, he has released a recipe, and most people can’t tell the difference between this and the original one.

Douglas gathered his secret recipes in a book, also he is the owner of the popular web site Recipe Secrets. He is still on his mission to deconstruct as many restaurant dishes as he can.

Today is July, 6th. So it is the National Fried Chicken Day. This is the opportunity to enjoy crisp, tasty and finger licking good fried chicken. We all know, fried foods are not good for our health, but you can give yourself a break for only a day, and have the taste of fried chicken.

Can you eat 68 hot dogs in 10 minutes?

US celebrated Fourth of July with different events. On Coney Island in New York, the celebration is all about hot dogs. America’s finest example of a “fast-food eater”, Joey Chestnut has set a new world record on Saturday. He has knocked down 68 hot dogs in just 10 minutes in Nathan’s Famous Fourth of July International Hot Dog Eating Contest. The former champion Takeru Kobayashi has been beaten by Chestnut, and his record 59 has been destroyed. You can find Chestnut’s and Kobayashi’s former performances after the break.
